Ciara’s Quince Portraits
I met Ciara a couple of years ago when she was a sweet little girl, and I can’t believe how grown up and beautiful she is now. So, since it was such a nice day, we decided to go out and take some Quinceañera portraits, LOL We had fun at the Deering Estate, we even had a picnic! The time flew by and we had to rush to get to Key Biscayne to capture some final shots with the sunset. It was an all around gorgeous day. I leave you with some images and a music slideshow that I created with a pretty song to make Ciara’s dad cry, sorry Pedro, I know you’ll love it :-). Happy 15th Birthday sweet Ciara! XOXO.

Sweet Family Portraits
I just love taking family portraits! Little Annabelle is just too cute for words!
At first it was one, then there were two, and now we are three!

Emma Rose’s First Communion
Emma is not only beautiful, but also the sweetest most thoughtful little girl I’ve ever met. She has a smile and a nice gesture for everyone. I enjoyed taking her First Communion portraits and being a part of the fun luncheon following the communion ceremony. May God always bless Emma Rose and her family.

No commentsAhoy Matey! Alessandra & Nicolas’ Birthday Party
I have been to a lot of fun birthday parties, but this one was just all around awesome! Alessandra is one year old and her big brother Nico is three. This year their parents decided to celebrate their birthdays together with one big party and it was the best idea ever. The theme of the party was pirates and the beautiful decorations were specially made for “Captain Nico” and “Princess Alessandra” by Play Garden. Little ones enjoyed amusement park rides, bounce houses, gym playground, craft tables where they decorated treasure chests, princess crowns, and pirate swords. The food was catered by El Rey de las Fritas truck. OMG, you just can’t go wrong with that, it was out of this world. Nico and Alessandra had a great day playing with their friends and I had a great time playing with all of them. It is so much fun to be a kid! Happy Birthday Alessandra and Nicolas.

Merici Academy Summer Reunion 2011
For the second year in a row I was fortunate to attend and photograph the Merici Academy Summer Reunion. The Merici Academy was an all girl Catholic school founded in Havana, Cuba in 1941. This group of ladies have quickly grown on me and when I’m around them, I kind of feel like one of their own. This year’s event got started with a mass officiated by Father Ernesto Fernandez-Travieso, followed by a fun cocktail hour where “the girls” got to see old friends and reminisce looking through old photographs. We then continued to a lunch and celebration of anniversaries of the Classes of 1946, 1951, 1956 and 1966. I love it!!! Thank you ladies for being so classy and for trusting me with the photos of your event. It was a blast!!!
IF YOU WISH TO VIEW THE ENTIRE ALBUM OF THE MERICI ACADEMY LUNCHEON AND ORDER PRINTS, PLEASE VISIT THE LOLYPIX GALLERIES ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE UNDER “RECENT EVENTS” AND SCROLL DOWN TO FIND YOUR ALBUM. Thank you.

2 commentsEmma’s First Holy Communion
Emma is a beautiful girl inside and out, and I was so happy to be able to capture her pre-communion portraits and also the photos on her communion day at the Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables and the fun luncheon that followed at “Crazy About You” Restaurant on Brickell. As always, it was a lot of fun for me to spend time with this beautiful family. May God always bless and guide Emma and may He continue to bless everyone who loves her. Here is a slideshow I’ve put together with some of the images from both sessions. Enjoy!!!

Thank You
Recently, at a wedding I was photographing, someone called me “the memory maker.” I thought that was not only very cute, but a very accurate and clever thing to say about a photographer. This blog post is just a little note dedicated to all my wonderful clients for a great year. I am grateful for your trust in me and my work, and for sharing the most precious moments of your lives with me. I have enjoyed every minute of it, and I hope to photograph many more happy moments for you and your loved ones. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. May God always bless you and yours. Here’s a photo my son captured while I was enjoying some of the beautiful holiday cards my clients created with the photos I took. May the new year bring us all many blessings and may I continue to be your “memory maker.” Lost of love. Loly.

Ely’s Sex and the City Party
Ely and her six best friends take time from their busy lives and families each month to get together for some “girl time.” They continue to enjoy their friendship, and welcome the well deserved time away from work, husbands, and children once in a while. They try to do different things with their time together each month, and this month it was Ely’s turn to entertain her friends. Ely surprised the girls with a photo shoot at their “Sex and the City party.” They played dress up, drank martinis and just talked and laughed. They all enjoyed delicious baked ziti that Ely prepared for them and then headed out to see the Sex and the City newly released movie. Ely’s night was a big hit and they will all remember how much fun it was as they see all the photos from the day.

Please enjoy the slideshow I’ve prepared with some of their photos.
Miami-Key Largo 55th Annual Sail Boat Race
Well, we don’t have the official results of the race yet, but I can tell you this, “WE ROCKED!!!!” Best one yet. With 13 to 16 knot winds out of the East the beautiful Morgan 41 sailboat, “Sea Glass” made impressive timing. The race was exciting all the way through, never a dull moment, with the boat leaning the whole time and some moments of adrenaline rush while crossing the channels under sail with the competition very near to our boat. Loved it!!! We made it to the finish line in record time leaving us plenty of time to relax and enjoy beautiful Key Largo. The way back on Sunday was just as enjoyable, we managed to miss all of the “bad weather” that was predicted and had a nice smooth sail back home. An unforgettable weekend for sure. A big thank you to our captain, Cary Capper, our wonderful crew, and our friends, Steve and “Red” in Key Largo for a wonderful weekend. Shout out to my son, Chris for getting up very early to photograph us at the starting line. You can view some of his photos at http://www.mangosandpeaches.com. Needless to say I had my camera with me at all times, and took lots of photos. I’ve put together a slideshow with a few of the shots. Enjoy!!!! To see all the photos from the race please click on the”galleries” section to your right and scroll down to find the “Miami to Key Largo Regatta 2010″ album.
