Surfer Boys
What better way to end a perfect summer than riding around our beautiful Biscayne Bay waters with your best friends on a 15 foot classic Boston Whaler? That is exactly what Christian, Noah, Eduardo and Carlos did recently. The four boys have shared many adventures together this summer and last week I had the opportunity of capturing some fun shots on what turned out to be a gorgeous afternoon after a rain storm. I just love my second job!!! The boys had a blast, and so did I. Hopefully these images will preserve fun memories as these families wrap up their summer break and get ready for the new school year. Here’s a slideshow I’ve created with some of the many photos I took. Enjoy!!!

A Day at the Park with Andy
I met with the Garcia-Tuñon family at Merrie Christmas Park last Sunday to take pictures of Andy for his second birthday and also some family portraits. It was a very pleasant afternoon and we had a good time running after Andy, who is an absolutely beautiful and very energetic little boy. Here are a few of the pictures from the outing.

Maya’s First Birthday Party
I went to Indian Hammocks Park on Sunday to photograph Maya’s first birthday party. It was a beautiful, sunny, breezy day and Maya looked like a doll in her Spring dress. Maya is a very happy little girl and she enjoyed her party to the fullest. She loved the Dora the Explorer decorations, and playing and dancing with her sister, little cousins and friends. The food was amazing and family and friends joined in the celebration. I don’t really know when the party ended because when I left it seemed like the group was not ready to call it quits. Happy Birthday Maya!!!

Sabrina’s Portraits
I met Caroline and Sabrina at the Coral Gables Entrance Park last Saturday to take their holiday portraits. It was a beautiful South Florida morning and we enjoyed strolling around the park in a very relaxed and casual way. Sabrina and her mom had fun playing with soap bubbles and relaxing on the lawn. Here are a few images.

A big kiss for the photographer!

Dylan & Hunter’s Beach Portraits
We went to South Beach very early in the morning on Saturday to take Dylan and Hunter’s portraits. It was chilly when we first got there, but after racing the kids down to the beach, we all got in the mood for pictures. Dylan and Hunter are not only very beautiful and well behaved children, but ”naturals” at this photo thing. They had a great time, and it was just so much fun for me to take their pictures. We got so many good shots that it was hard to pick just a few to post here, but after a long struggle and with the help of my family, here are the ones we came up with. I hope you enjoy them!!!

Sariah’s Birthday Party
I went to Indian Hammocks Park in Kendall last Sunday to photograph Sariah’s first birthday party. Sariah is an adorable little girl who is surrounded by her loving parents, Elissa and Edward, and by a whole bunch of very nice people who adore her. The birthday party was put together with the help of the family’s good friend and event planner, Melissa Caceres of “Events on a Budget” www.eventsonabudget.com, who outdid herself with a very nice setup. Sariah’s guests enjoyed among other things an ice cream station, face painting, jewelry design, coloring, a jump house, a cotton candy machine, and a delicious pizza buffet to please all palates. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with presents, fun games, and lots of love for Sariah and her family. Happy Birthday Sariah!!!!!

I remember going to Ayleen and Doug’s home to take newborn portraits of Alfie for their birth announcements not too long ago. Now Alfie is seven months old, he’s sitting up on his own, and he couldn’t be cuter. He has a great personality, the most amazing big blue eyes (just like mom’s) and a beautiful captivating smile. He thinks I look like his grandma, so he likes me!
I met them at South Beach last Saturday and even though it was a hot South Florida morning, we managed to get a few nice shots. Here are a few for your enjoyment.

Danny’s Birthday
Last Sunday I went to Miami Springs to take pictures at Danny’s third birthday party. Danny, his big brother, Charlie and all their friends and cousins had lots of fun with Blues Clues, a wonderful musical puppet show by Jane Stratten, and lots of cake and presents. Happy Birthday Danny! Here are a few pictures from the party.

Emilie and Melanie
Here are a few shots of Emilie and Melanie’s holiday pictures which they will be sharing with family and friends this Christmas.
