Bertica, Carlos & Nieves’ Celebration
It has been Bertica’s dream to have a big party surrounded by her family and good friends to celebrate all the good things in her life. What a great idea! Well, her dream recently came true, and I had the pleasure of photographing the event. They celebrated Bertica’s birthday, her mother, Nieve’s birthday, and Bertica and Carlos’ wedding anniversary. The party was so much fun, and everything was so beautiful! The event design, production, and catering was provided by Suzanne Michael Haute Cuisine & Events, The music was provided by David Oliva’s band and the party was just a blast. Santiago’s 70th Birthday
It was such an honor for me to be part of Santiago’s 70th birthday celebration. Santiago, Eloisa and their family have become part of the LolyPix family through the years. I am very grateful for their friendship and loyalty and it makes me happy to be able to preserve so many good memories for their beautiful family through my photographs. This time they were celebrating Santiago’s 70th birthday and family and friends gathered at the Coral Gables Country Club where they enjoyed a very lively party. Their happiness was contagious. We all enjoyed nice food, great music by Carlos Rafael and Maria from “agozarcongonzalez”, and a wonderful Carnaval hour that had everyone out on the dance floor. What a great pary! Felicidades Santiago. I wish you a very happy birthday and many, many more enjoyed in good health and surrounded by all the people who love you.

Miller Road Band
We went to CocoWalk on Friday night where the Miller Road Band was playing, as they do every month. It was a pleasant night and the band once again delighted the Friday night crowd with all time favorites. Miller Road Band appeared at Finnengan’s on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach on Saturday, and once again at Bougainvillea’s Tavern in South Miami on Sunday night. I am posting a few pictures I captured on Friday with my point and shoot camera. We went to Jake’s Bar & Grill in Coral Gables where the Miller Road Band once again rocked the house. They played to celebrate Alexandra’s birthday and it was a great success. The band will be playing again on Saturday, July 7th at Finnegan’s on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.

Rock On
So, on Saturday, after hearing a lot of good things about our son Nick’s band, my husband and I decided to pay them a visit at Bougainvillea’s Tavern in South Miami. The joint was jumpin’!!! The Miller Road Band consisting of Carlos, rhythm guitar and singer, Scott on lead guitar, Marc on drums, and Nick on bass guitar played rock standards like “Hotel California”, “All Along the Watchtower,” and many other crowd pleasers to the delight and cheers of a packed house. Here are a few pictures I took.
