Wendy Getting Ready
Wendy got ready for her big day at the Don Shula Hotel in Miami Lakes. I had the pleasure of spending a few hours with her, her mother and bridesmaids as they prepared for the much anticipated wedding. Please enjoy the slideshow I’ve put together with a few of the photos captured that afternoon. We then went to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church where the ceremony was held. I will be sharing some of the ceremony photos on my next posting.

“It’s Going to be a Great Night” And it was!
I recently visited the Mondrian Hotel on South Beach to capture some shots of Beatriz getting ready for her big wedding night. Beatriz is not only gorgeous, but has the warmest, kindest heart I have seen in a while. It is really a treat to get to know her, and I was honored to be part of her wedding day. Her makeup was done by Nikki Oxley, check her out at http://www.facebook.com/nikki.oxley and her hair by PapoAdal Hair Design. When it was all said and done, after much pampering and some wonderful glasses of wine, Beatriz was ready. She looked absolutely radiant! I took a few portraits of the beautiful bride, and we headed out to the Old Spanish Monastery where her handsome groom, Tom, awaited. Stay tuned for photos from the unique, fun, and beautiful ceremony that followed coming up next here on my blog.

Eileen & Pedro’s Wedding Day
Eileen and Pedro’s wedding was very special to me. I have known them and their family for a while now and I have taken part as their photographer on many of the events leading up to their big day. Needless to say, on the day of the wedding I was eager to go and begin the celebration with them. We got started at the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove where Eileen, her mother, grandmother and bridesmaids got ready. The ladies had a good time pampering themselves and enjoying their time together with Eileen as they helped her prepare for the wedding. They did a good job and Eileen looked amazing!!! I then went to the Coral Gables Congregational Church where I met Pedro and his groomsmen for some photos before the ceremony. The ceremony was conducted by Reverend Milan, and it was beautiful, personal and very touching. Eileen and Pedro made sure to include everyone in their family as part of their ceremony. We then went to the Ronald W. Shane Center in Miami Beach for the reception. The place was decorated with a winter wonderland theme, they had two beautiful Christmas trees and snowflakes everywhere with an elegant white, blue and silver color scheme. On this very special day Eileen and Pedro were surrounded by their family and friends whose love for this couple was contagious. Congratulations!!! I leave you with the slideshows I’ve created with some of the many photos captured throughout the wedding day. Enjoy!!!!
“Special Thanks to my son Chris for second shooting at the church, you can check his work out at www.mangosandpeaches.com and to my husband for graciously driving me around from venue to venue making my job a lot easier.”

Anita Getting Ready
Last weekend I once again had the pleasure of photographing another one of Anita’s events. I met her at the Airport Hilton where she was getting ready for her much anticipated wedding. Anita had all the special ladies in her life around her and she made sure that they all participated in helping her get ready making the occasion a very memorable one not only for Anita, but for all those she loves so much. I was very touched by her sweet, gentle and loving gesture. At the end of the session, the group gathered around Anita admiring her beauty and making a toast to her happiness. I left them to their celebration to go to San Juan Bosco Catholic Church to meet her groom, Anthony and photograph him greeting their guests as they arrived at the church. Please stay tuned for the wedding ceremony and reception photos which I will be posting very soon.

…See you at the church…

Elaine’s getting ready session
I had the pleasure of assisting Bob Quesada on Elaine’s wedding day by taking her photos at her parents’ home as she got ready for her “big day.” Here are a few of the shots I took.
