Jaclyn & Michael’s Engagement
From the moment I met this couple I was absolutely taken by them. Taken by Mike’s beautiful green eyes, taken by Jaclyn’s gorgeous red hair, but most importantly, I was taken by their personalities, and by the love they have for each other. So, needless to say, I was very excited about shooting their engagement portraits, and I must say, they did not disappoint me. We met at the Barnacle in Coconut Grove on a beautiful afternoon, and I can only hope my photos captured the loving way they always look at each other, hold hands, and kiss with such gentle sweetness. Beautiful, true love still exists, and Jaclyn and Michael are here to prove it. Please enjoy the slideshow I’ve created with some of my favorite photos from the shoot and with one of my all time favorite songs, “Only You.” Congratulations Michael and Jaclyn, I am looking forward to being part of your wedding in July.

Tony & Janet
Janet and Tony booked their engagement session with me a while back, but their session had to be postponed a few times due to lots of rainy days, and our busy schedules. Well, it turns out that by the time we finally got around to doing the photo shoot, Janet and Tony were husband and wife, so what began as an “E-session” ended up in a very happy “Just Married” photo shoot. I love it! We went to South Beach and enjoyed a beautiful summer afternoon by the ocean. Congratulations Tony & Janet!

Carola & Rafael’s Engagement Party
What a beautiful couple!!! Carola and Rafael are very much in love, and family and friends gathered to celebrate their recent engagement. The group enjoyed tapas, cocktails, and good music as they toasted to the couple’s life long happiness. In spite of a little rain, which in my mind only confirms heaven’s blessing, the party was a great success. Congratulations to Carola, Rafa and their beautiful family!!! Please enjoy the slideshow I’ve created with some of the images captured at the party.
Eileen & Pedro’s Engagement Session
I met Eileen and Pedro at the Reunion Resort in Orlando, Florida http://www.reunionresort.com/ where they decided to have their engagement photo session. The resort is not only a beautiful location, but it brings lots of happy memories to Eileen, Pedro and their family. We had a great day riding around the resort grounds on golf carts and just having fun shooting pictures. Special thanks to Eileen’s parents, Terry and Gabe, for all their help with the shoot. Eileen and Pedro are a great couple who are very happy when they are together. I look forward to spending more time with them as I capture all the special moments leading up to their wedding and of course, their “big day” in December. Thank you guys for a wonderful weekend. I leave you with some of the photos taken on that day.

Happy Valentine’s Day
On this Valentine’s Day, I dedicate this post on my blog to two of my favorite couples. Annette and Francisco and Lily and Felix. These two couples represent the essence of true love, dedication, respect, and good example to all those who are lucky to know them. Francisco and Felix, two very handsome guys, married two of the most beautiful and wonderful young ladies I know. It is an inspiration to see them as they build their lives together as husbands and wives and in spite of their very busy professional schedules it never ceases to amaze me how they manage to find time not only for each other, but for their family as well. I am proud to be part of their lives and I have created these romantic slideshows as my present to them and to all my blog fans on Valentine’s Day. These are some of the photos I took during their engagement sessions. I hope you enjoy them. Happy Valentine’s Day to all.

Beba & Dave’s Engagement Party
Do you believe in love at first sight? Well, Beba and Dave’s story is unusual and very romantic. They met while Beba was on safari in South Africa with her family and Dave happened to be the family’s guide and lead hunter. The story goes that after the family returned to the States, Dave could not stop thinking about Beba, so he decided to give her a call. One thing led to the other and pretty soon Beba was traveling to South Africa and Dave was visiting Miami often. They made it work!!!! This goes to show you that yes, there is such a thing as fate, where there’s a will, there’s a way and true love will conquer all. It isn’t just a cliché that romantic people have made up. Beba and Dave are living proof. I’m a sucker for romance, I believe in true love, and I just love this story. Beba’s family is very happy to have Dave among them and this party was a great way to celebrate the engagement and their happiness. The couple is planning an end of the year wedding. Beba and Dave, I wish you a life long romance. Congratulations!!!! I now leave you with a slide show of some of the photos I took at the party.

Lily & Felix Engagement Session
I recently had the pleasure of shooting Lily and Felix’s engagement portraits. Lily is my Godchild and I love her with all my heart. We started off in Coconut Grove walking around their favorite spots and familiar places that bring them fun memories. Lily did some shopping while we were there and Felix treated us to smoothies because it was a typical hot, and beautiful Miami summer day. We then went down to Kennedy Park to the very spot where Felix proposed to Lily, it was very romantic. We also took some photos at the Dinner Key Marina, sooo Miami!!! and a place which also brings back very happy memories. Last, but not least, we made a stop at the University of Miami, Lily’s alma mater, where we finished our shoot around the campus’ beautiful gardens. I want to thank my “assistants” Ana and Annette, who not only had great ideas for nice shots, but made the whole session so much more fun. We are all very happy to see Lily and Felix realize their dreams together and we can’t wait until the wedding. It’s going to be a blast!!!! No doubt, Lily will make a gorgeous bride. After the shoot, Lily & Felix had the whole family over to their new home in Coral Gables for an informal “open house.” Congratulations and many blessings for your life together. Here are a few photos from that day.

Alex & Gigi are engaged!!!
I went to my good friend Blanca’s house to photograph her nephew Alex and beautiful fiancé Gigi’s engagement party. Alex and Gigi make a great couple and they both have charming personalities. Gigi and Alex’s family and friends enjoyed a “wine & cheese” party that turned out to be quite a feast with delicious gourmet food, wines to please all pallates and nice music. I had a great evening with this nice group of people whom I consider family. Thanks for having me there and I wish you all the happiness you both deserve.

Anita & Anthony’s E-Session
I had the pleasure of spending Saturday morning with Anita and Anthony. We started up at the Casablanca Hotel, which is where they met. They shared their romantic story with me as we continued on to Ocean Drive in South Beach where we took pictures at some of their favorite spots. They also took a nice walk on the beach on what turned out to be a beautiful south Florida day. Anita and Anthony are a fun couple and are very much in love. I am looking forward to their wedding in May. Congratulations!!!

Lily & Felix’s Engagement Party
Yay!!! Lily and Felix are engaged. Congratulations!!! We are all very excited (myself included, as I am Lily’s Godmother). Last Saturday the engagement was celebrated with a “black & white party” at Lily’s home. The decorations were beautiful and everyone looked very elegant in their black & white outfits. The party was catered by Suzanne & Michael Catering, you must check them out at details-matter.com. They are amazing!!! Lily and Felix are very happy together and both families are thrilled with this union as we all believe they are made for each other. We look forward to the wedding in September and wish them all the happiness in the world.

Champagne anyone?
