Jazmin is beautiful and sweet, and it was a pleasure for me to do her Quinceañera portraits at Vizcaya gardens on a spring morning that felt more like a hot summer day.  We were grateful for no rain and enjoyed every shaded spot, cool breeze, and cold drink we could get.  I also took the opportunity and shot a few portraits of Jazmin’s family.  Her little sister Kaylin and brother Kenneth are also a delight.  What a beautiful family!!!  Jazmin’s 15th birthday is this week and I wanted to post this slideshow just in time for that.  “Happy Birthday Jazmin, keep smiling.”

Tiffany’s Quinceañera party was held at the beautiful grounds of ”The Secret Garden” where Tiffany enjoyed an enchanted night surrounded by family and friends who came together to celebrate this important milestone in Tiffany’s life.  This party combined a little bit of tradition along with all the things the young crowd loves.  Tiffany is not only beautiful, but very sweet.  Her family adores her, and judging from Tiffany’s permanent smile throughout the night, I could tell she was very pleased with her party.  Happy Birthday Tiffany.   I leave you with a slideshow of some of the pictures taken at the party.

Happy Birthday Tiff!!!

I recently met with Tiffany, her mom and her grandmother at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens to take Tiffany’s quinceañera portraits.  Tiffany is not only beautiful, but very easy going.  The weather on this day was no different than any other Miami summer day, so needless to say, it was HOT!!!  Nevertheless, Tiffany was a trooper and her mom and I felt like we were playing “Barbies” as we helped Tiffany change into her different outfits.  At the end of the shoot Tiffany cooled off in the ocean at Crandon Marina on Key Biscayne and I took the opportunity to capture some pictures there as well.  It made me wish I had packed my swimsuit in my camera bag.  Tiffany, I hope you’re having a great time in your “Quinceañera Cruise,” and I hope all your dreams come true.

At Crandon Marina

Some of my clients have expressed an interest in the crochet party favors that they have seen in some of my photographs.  For those who may be interested, I am posting some samples of the beautiful things “Tata” makes.  You can place your order through me (Tata is a little shy), and I will be happy to help.  The crochet creations are hand made and very unique, no two are ever alike.  I can tell you they are made with much love by a person who is just an angel from heaven.  She’s my aunt and I am so proud of her!!!  Here are a few photos of her beautiful work.

She also makes beautiful crosses which are great for First Communions and Christenings and little baby strollers which are great for baby showers.  I don’t have photos of the crosses or strollers to post at the moment, but as soon as I do, I will do so. 

I recently had the pleasure of taking Aimee’s Quince portraits.  We met on two occasions, one for formal portraits at the Coral Gables Entrance Park where Aimee literally glowed in her beautiful Quinceañera gown and then at South Beach for informal portraits in her white linen sundress and fun beachwear.  I have known Aimee for a few years and I have seen her blossom into a very beautiful young woman.  Happy birthday to Aimee and congratulations to her and her family on this happy occasion.  I leave you with a few of the portraits captured.  Enjoy!!!  

At  the Beach

Last Friday I went to the Martinez’s home on Catalina Lake to photograph their daughter Virginia’s 15th birthday party.  Virginia is a beautiful, sweet young girl who is adored by her family.  Virginia and her father delighted the group by dancing to “The way you look tonight.”  The lively party went on by the lake on a perfect moonlit Miami night.  Happy Birthday Virginia!!!!
