Danny’s Birthday
Last Sunday I went to Miami Springs to take pictures at Danny’s third birthday party. Danny, his big brother, Charlie and all their friends and cousins had lots of fun with Blues Clues, a wonderful musical puppet show by Jane Stratten, and lots of cake and presents. Happy Birthday Danny! Here are a few pictures from the party.

Hot Air Balloon Race
On Saturday, April 14th, I, along with a group of the bravest members of my family, got up before the crack of dawn, (not an easy thing for me to do), and drove to the Tamiami Airport for the annual hot air balloon race. The event was sponsored by the Sunrise Group, a non for profit corporation dedicated to helping people with developmental disabilities to live valued lives in the community. Everyone enjoyed a pancake breakfast from IHOP, live music, bounce houses, rock climbing and a spectacular display of colorful hot air balloons. We had lots of fun!!!! Of course, I took my camera, and here are some images for your enjoyment.
Easter Sunday
In keeping with tradition, my sister Ana had her usual Easter brunch. As always, she outdid herself. The decorations were beautiful, the food was amazing and everyone had lots of fun. What a beautiful afternoon! Thanks sis. Olivia wanted to take a chick home with her, but her mommy didn’t like the idea
Sea Glass
Exciting news!
A few of my photos have been featured in an article appearing in Practical Sailor Magazine. My shots of the interior and exterior of the Morgan 41 sailboat known as “Sea Glass” can be seen in the three page article. Here are some of the magazine clippings
New Toys!
I recently had an opportunity to test my brand new Nikkor 50 mm f/1.4 lens during the “Moonlight Tour” at the beautiful Vizcaya gardens and at the Pinecrest Gardens. My daughter Lauren and her friend Andrew gracefully posed and clowned around so I could take their photographs. We had a blast! I shot all the pictures using available light only and the lens proved to be a wonderful addition to my collection. Here are a few of the images taken.
Gloria’s Baby Shower
On Sunday, April 1st, I went to Fort Lauderdale to cover Gloria’s Baby Shower. Gloria’s sisters did a wonderful job in organizing the party. Friends and family gathered at Isabel’s beautiful home where they enjoyed a very nice lunch. After Gloria opened all her presents, everyone agreed that baby Alexander will have everything he needs and more, but most importantly, he will have the love of his parents and beautiful family who are all joyfully awaiting his arrival. Congratulations to all!
