Annette’s Bridal Portraits
So, I can finally post Annette’s portraits!!! Annette and Francisco got married last Saturday during a beautiful ceremony at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in South Beach. They had a very elegant wedding reception at the Miami Beach Resort and Spa where family and friends gathered and celebrated their union. I had taken Annette’s bridal portraits about a month ago at the Deering Estate, but was not able to post them for fear that the groom would see her in her dress before the wedding. Now that they are married and away on their honeymoon cruise, I will post a few of the images I captured. I have to say that Annette not only made a beautiful bride, but has to be one of the happiest brides I have ever seen. Congratulations Annette and Francisco from Titi.

Sariah’s Birthday Party
I went to Indian Hammocks Park in Kendall last Sunday to photograph Sariah’s first birthday party. Sariah is an adorable little girl who is surrounded by her loving parents, Elissa and Edward, and by a whole bunch of very nice people who adore her. The birthday party was put together with the help of the family’s good friend and event planner, Melissa Caceres of “Events on a Budget” www.eventsonabudget.com, who outdid herself with a very nice setup. Sariah’s guests enjoyed among other things an ice cream station, face painting, jewelry design, coloring, a jump house, a cotton candy machine, and a delicious pizza buffet to please all palates. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with presents, fun games, and lots of love for Sariah and her family. Happy Birthday Sariah!!!!!

We went to CocoWalk on Friday night where the Miller Road Band was playing, as they do every month. It was a pleasant night and the band once again delighted the Friday night crowd with all time favorites. Miller Road Band appeared at Finnengan’s on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach on Saturday, and once again at Bougainvillea’s Tavern in South Miami on Sunday night. I am posting a few pictures I captured on Friday with my point and shoot camera. If you are interested in the Miller Road Band’s schedule, you can follow it by visiting their website where they post news and upcoming events at http://myspace.com/marc9909.

Last Saturday a group of ladies got together at the Skyline on Brickell to celebrate Olga Mari’s bridal shower Moroccan style. When I walked into the room I was amazed by the wonderful decorations done by Lissette Alassi from Gifts & Beyond by Lis http://www.indiamorocco.com/. The Moroccan theme was carried out not only with the decorations, but with authentic food, music, and even the style that some of the girls chose to dress in. It was an afternoon filled with color, wonderful aromas, and most importantly a room filled with beautiful people wishing Olga Mari and Vince the best for their upcoming wedding and many years of happiness together. Congratulations to the happy couple and their family.

Mateo’s Baptism
I had the pleasure of going to Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church in Miami Lakes last Sunday to photograph Mateo’s baptism. Father Murphy blessed Mateo with quite a “splash” of holy water (very impressive). The ceremony was beautiful and fun, totally different from all others I have attended. Mateo is blessed with wonderful parents, Natalie and Enrique as well as a large loving family. After the ceremony we went to the Rodriguez’s home where the celebration continued with a delicious lunch, cake, many presents and lots of love for Mateo. May God always bless you and keep you safe Mateo.
