I recently had the pleasure of shooting Lily and Felix’s engagement portraits. Lily is my Godchild and I love her with all my heart. We started off in Coconut Grove walking around their favorite spots and familiar places that bring them fun memories. Lily did some shopping while we were there and Felix treated us to smoothies because it was a typical hot, and beautiful Miami summer day. We then went down to Kennedy Park to the very spot where Felix proposed to Lily, it was very romantic. We also took some photos at the Dinner Key Marina, sooo Miami!!! and a place which also brings back very happy memories. Last, but not least, we made a stop at the University of Miami, Lily’s alma mater, where we finished our shoot around the campus’ beautiful gardens. I want to thank my “assistants” Ana and Annette, who not only had great ideas for nice shots, but made the whole session so much more fun. We are all very happy to see Lily and Felix realize their dreams together and we can’t wait until the wedding. It’s going to be a blast!!!! No doubt, Lily will make a gorgeous bride. After the shoot, Lily & Felix had the whole family over to their new home in Coral Gables for an informal “open house.” Congratulations and many blessings for your life together. Here are a few photos from that day.
We just got back from our yearly family vacation. As is our tradition, we once again went to Sanibel and Captiva Island for our reunion and it was like being in paradise. Sanibel Island is not only a beautiful and tranquil place, but it brings our family happy memories and it never gets old. We love it year after year. It was no different this time around and young and old had an opportunity to relax, enjoy and come closer together, if that is possible. I know there are many far and exotic places where I could go on vacation, but I would not change my little family get away at Sanibel Island for anything in the world. Here are a few of the photos we took at Captiva Island during a breathtaking sunset. Unforgettable!!!!
… So long, until next year…
On May 31st, I had the pleasure of photographing Enrique Manuel’s baptism. I met the family at their home and we then went to St. Augustine’s Catholic Church where the ceremony was held. Enrique was very well behaved at all times. We then went back to their home where the celebration continued with a nice luch. Many blessings and congratulations to the family.
The fun reception was held at the Renaissance Ballrooms in Coral Gables. The decorations were nicely put together by Ani and Gabi from Gabani Events from gabanievents.com The bride and goom danced all night and enjoyed their wedding reception to the fullest. Here are a few pictures from the party.
As promised, here are a few of the photos taken during Anita & Anthony’s wedding ceremony at San Juan Bosco Catholic Church in downtown Miami. The ceremony was very traditional and elegant with a lot of attention to detail. Both Anita and Anthony are lucky to have large and very close knit families and their joy, love and support for this couple could not be missed. I will be posting pictures of the reception shortly.
and off to the party we go … see you there…
Last weekend I once again had the pleasure of photographing another one of Anita’s events. I met her at the Airport Hilton where she was getting ready for her much anticipated wedding. Anita had all the special ladies in her life around her and she made sure that they all participated in helping her get ready making the occasion a very memorable one not only for Anita, but for all those she loves so much. I was very touched by her sweet, gentle and loving gesture. At the end of the session, the group gathered around Anita admiring her beauty and making a toast to her happiness. I left them to their celebration to go to San Juan Bosco Catholic Church to meet her groom, Anthony and photograph him greeting their guests as they arrived at the church. Please stay tuned for the wedding ceremony and reception photos which I will be posting very soon.
…See you at the church…
