Lily celebrated her bridal shower last Saturday at Las Vegas Restaurant in Coral Gables with a nice gathering of ladies who enjoyed a fun afternoon, wonderful lunch, refreshing drinks, nice music and lots of planning for the upcoming wedding.  Lily and Felix will be tying the knot in September and there is much anticipation and excitement for the wedding.  Lily received lots of nice presents and she glowed with happiness.  It was all captured in the photos taken mostly by my son Chris, who did a wonderful job with the photos allowing me to enjoy the party.  Thanks Chris!   Congratulations to Lily, Felix and the family on this joyous occasion.  Here are a few of the pictures taken.

Congratulations Lily, all my love, from “madrina”

Manicaragua is a small town in the province of Las Villas in Cuba and that is where I am from.  Last Sunday we all gathered for our traditional yearly reunion.  We usually put together a big party where the older generation reminisces and the younger generations have an opportunity to meet and make new friends.  The party was a blast as usual and I can’t wait until we get together again.  I, of course, took my camera along to document the event and I am happy to know that through my photos those who remain in our town back in Cuba and those who could not travel from other States to be here with us this year will feel like they too were part of the celebration.  Here are a few of the photos I took.

I got a call from my friends Michelle and Damian who decided to hire me to take pictures at their good friend, Mirielle’s baby shower.  So, I went there and surprised Mirielle who was very happy to see me.  I hadn’t seen Mirielle in a little while and I was pleased to see how beautiful and glowing with happiness she is.  The group of ladies enjoyed a very nice afternoon filled with good food, fun games and lots of presents for “Jonathan” who is so lucky to be coming into this world surrounded by such wonderful parents, family and friends.  Here are a few of the pictures from the shower.

The End

Paulina and Juan Carlos are such a great couple!  They have not only joined their lives in marriage, but they bring their six beautiful children together in the process and now they are one big happy family.  They call themselves the “Brady Bunch.”  The ceremony and reception were held at the Reception Palace Ballrooms.  The party kicked off with an impressive choreographed dance by the bride and groom which was a lot of fun for everyone to watch.  This couple sure knows how to party and their happiness spilled over to all their guests who joined them on the dance floor for a fun filled night.  Best wishes and many blessings to Paulina, Juan Carlos and their children.  Here are a some of the many photos I took at their wedding.
