Gloria’s Baby Shower

Gloria’s sisters surprised her with her baby shower details and with the help of the ladies from their family, they did an amazing job.   Gloria was very  touched and happy with everything.  The centerpieces were very original, I loved the little babies and the storks with top hats and blue feather theme, as well as the white rose details which guests got to take home, very clever!  The games they played were lots of fun and in particular, the puzzle game in which they took the time to enlarge one of Gloria’s favorite photos from our maternity shoot and made life size puzzles, this one turned out to be everyone’s favorite game.  Lunch was delicious, the deserts were amazing, creations of Sweetness Cafe, check them out at The shower was a total success.  Congratulations Gloria, Ariel, and Alex.  I can’t wait to meet little Adrian.

“The Party” – Bea & Tom’s Wedding Reception

My last posting on this amazing wedding is the fun party.  The reception was held at the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club.  The place was beautifully decorated with an Alice in Wonderland Theme (check out the cool bar).  The place cards were displayed on a miniature garden created by Beatriz, and colorful rose arrangements and lights hung from the trees creating a delightful atmosphere.   Tom & Beatriz’ guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and danced the night away.  Please enjoy the slideshow I’ve created with some of the shots from the party.  It was great to work at this wedding with event planner, Sari, from Events by Sari; DJ Michael Sarysz, from Sarz Entertainment, and videographer, Ram, from Fandango Wedding Films,

Best wishes to Beatriz and Tom for an eternal honeymoon!

Bea & Tom’s Wedding Ceremony

Tom & Beatriz’s wedding ceremony took place at the beautiful Old Spanish Monastery in North Miami Beach.  Beatriz was one of the happiest brides I have seen walking, or should I say dancing down the isle.  The dancing started early at this wedding, as you will see in the slideshow.  It was lots of fun for the bride and groom and all their guests.  It definitely was a happy ceremony.  They still said beautiful words to each other when they exchanged vows, lit the unity candle, and prayed together, but they mixed a little fun with all the traditional stuff.  I loved it!  The slideshow I have created features the song of the night, “Forever” by Chris Brown.  Enjoy!

“It’s Going to be a Great Night” And it was!

I recently visited the Mondrian Hotel on South Beach to capture some shots of Beatriz getting ready for her big wedding night.  Beatriz is not only gorgeous, but has the warmest, kindest heart I have seen in a while.  It is really a treat to get to know her, and I was honored to be part of her wedding day.  Her makeup was done by Nikki Oxley, check her out at and her hair by PapoAdal Hair Design.  When it was all said and done, after much pampering and some wonderful glasses of wine, Beatriz was ready.  She looked absolutely radiant! I took a few portraits of the beautiful bride, and we headed out to the Old Spanish Monastery where her handsome groom, Tom, awaited.  Stay tuned for photos from the unique, fun, and beautiful ceremony that followed coming up next here on my blog.

Beatriz & Tom’s Rehearsal Dinner

I recently had the pleasure of photographing Beatriz and Tom’s Rehearsal Dinner at Novecento Restaurant on Brickell.  On this beautiful night a group of their closest family and friends gathered to celebrate in anticipation of their amazing wedding, which took place the following day.  Lots of nice things were said about this beautiful couple, but the one thing that is obvious by just looking at them is that they are both loving, caring persons, and that they are absolutely in love with each other.  I enjoyed the rehearsal dinner as well as all the events that followed on their wedding day, which I was fortunate enough to be a part of.  Stay tuned for postings of the wedding day coming soon.

“The Reason”…Baby Camila Sofia and Jan Paul

“Beautiful”  That is the one word that came to my mind when I got ready to post these photos on my blog.  A beautiful brand new baby girl, Camila Sofia, super sweet and caring big brother, Jan Paul, and adoring mom and dad, Carol and Jon.  They are not only a very handsome family, but wonderful persons too.  Thank you to my son Chris for introducing me to his good friend Jon, and his lovely family.  I enjoyed spending a few hours with them at their home capturing Camila’s newborn portraits and some family shots.  I hope you enjoy the slideshow I created with some of my favorites.

Nicholas 4 Month Old and Halloween Portraits

Time for Nicholas’ four month old portraits came around, and lucky for us it happened to fall on the Halloween weekend.  So we decided to take baby’s first Halloween portraits of Nicholas wearing his “Cuban Guayabera” with a latin music flavor theme, and also some portraits with his super cute Tigger costume using a Fall theme.  He is so adorable, and he is such a good sport!  The song I chose for the slideshow is “Jeepers, Creepers” because Nicholas has the biggest most expressive eyes I have ever seen.  I look forward to his next shoot next month and we already have something special planned for that one.  I love it!
